We currently have the following positions available:

KITCHEN PORTER/WASH-UP

Part-time (we are looking for either one person to work up to four shifts a week or two people to share the four shifts)
16 years plus only
No accommodation available
Shifts are Thursday evening, Friday evening, Saturday evening & Sunday lunchtimes.
Each shift is approximately 4 hours.
Duties will include washing-up during service, regular cleaning of kitchen, occasional fetching and carrying of sometimes heavy loads.

SENIOR WAITER/ESS

We are looking for an experienced Head Waiter/ess to work on a part time basis.

The job will be primarily based in Little Mere Restaurant, but we also need someone who can work some shifts in the Gorley Tea Rooms from Easter until October to cover sickness/holidays.

The successful applicant will speak English fluently, be impeccably presented, with a professional & friendly manner. Previous experience of being employed as a Head Waiter/ess or Restaurant Supervisor will be essential. A good knowledge of wines and personal license would be helpful. Duties will involve taking drink & wine orders, serving meals, keeping the restaurant spotlessly clean & covering the Restaurant Manager for holidays/sickness. We are a licensed tea rooms and restaurant, and are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old who can serve alcohol without supervision.

Age 18-21: £6-£6.50 per hour (plus bonuses)
Age 22 or over: £6-£7.50 per hour (plus bonuses)
