We currently have the following positions available:

TEA ROOMS CHEF/COOK

Staring in June

1 x Full time = 6 days per week to work approx 6.5 hours per day (approx 11am-5.30pm)
OR
2 x Part time = (approx 6.5 hours per day)

To prepare and serve tasty home made lunches, snacks, cakes & scones for Tea Rooms. Must have previous experience and be prepared to plan menus, maintain high kitchen hygiene standards and keep control of stock.

Salary negotiable depending on previous experience.

HEAD WAITER/ESS

We are looking for an experienced Head Waiter/ess to work on a part time basis.

The job will be primarily based in the Tea Rooms, but we also need someone who can work some shifts in Little Mere Restaurant on a regular basis (and to cover for sickness/holidays)

The successful applicant will speak English fluently, be impeccably presented, with a professional & friendly manner. Previous experience of being employed as a Head Waiter/ess or Restaurant Supervisor will be essential. A good knowledge of wines and personal license would be helpful. Duties will involve taking drink & wine orders, serving meals, keeping the restaurant spotlessly clean & covering the Restaurant Manager for holidays/sickness. We are a licensed tea rooms and restaurant, and are looking for someone who is at least 18 years old who can serve alcohol without supervision.

Age 18-21: £5-£6.50 per hour (plus bonuses)
Age 22 or over: £6-£7 per hour (plus bonuses)
