Manager Nikki Robson would like to welcome you to Little Mere Restaurant.

Opened in December 2004, Little Mere aims to wow our guests with fantastic food, in intimate, stylish surroundings. 

The Restaurant comprises of two rooms, which are both used for tables of 2 upwards:
 
Main restaurant which comfortably seats up to 20 covers, with a maximum of 14 people on one table.
Side restaurant which can seat up to 18, with a maximum of 16 on one table.  This room is ideal for private parties of 14-16 people.Conservatory

We also have a large conservatory with leather sofas, and in the warmer months guests can make use of our patio area overlooking the beautiful gardens.  Both are ideal for pre-dinner drinks or after dinner coffee.

Our Kitchen team comprises of two first class Chefs, Head Chef Simon Reed who has worked at Little Mere since September 2005 and Sous Chef Sally Ann Ransome who joined us in July 2006.  Both have been Head Chefs, and both have over 20 years of experience, working in both UK and international restaurants. This, together with their passion for good food, enables them to have an excellent understanding of preparing fine dining cuisine.

Our a la Carte menu changes monthly, enabling Simon and Sally to take advantage of fresh seasonal produce and incorporate a variety of styles of cooking.  There is always a selection of around six starters, seven mains and six desserts.  We offer vegetarian options, and can cater for most special dietery requirement if given a little notice.

Lobster Tail with Seafood BrochetteOur Sunday lunch menu changes weekly, but always includes at least a choice of four starters (two of which are suitable for vegetarians), four main courses (two roasts, a fish dish and vegetarian option), and four desserts.  The menu is priced at £22.50 for two courses or £24.50 for three courses, which includes delicious home made bread.

Since we are a relatively small restaurant with a maximum of 35 covers, it is advisable that you pre-book.  There is no problem if you subsquently have to cancel, but we would ask that you give us as much warning as possible (even if just one member of your party is unable to attend).  For groups of over 10 people we will require a deposit of £10.00 per person.

Dress code is smart to smart casual (no ripped jeans, shorts or over casual tops please).
